A machinist keen on wild rhythms and a singer with melodies as furious as they are neat. The duo from Avignon creates the band in 2010 with a common desire for a Dub without barriers, drawing their inspiration from Jamaican roots, the French  and UK Dub, the current  Bass Music movement or the Sound System culture.

With a certain musical maturity, many concerts across Europe and after sharing the stage with the big names in the Dub scene, both musicians ability to create their own style.

Their collaborations with Mahom, Odatteee or After All sound system reveal this constant openness to miscegenation that will lead them to come out in 2016 their first album « International Skankers ». An opus in form of travel diary, where musical styles and cultures are mix.

In 2018 the duo released a second album « Reptile » with always the idea of ​​meandering between the different facets of the Dub, this time the singers are honored through featurings with Troy Berkley, Nai-Jah and Joe Pilgrim. It’s live that the Ashkabad’s music is gaining momentum, their energy overflowing will make leap the most refractory.
